Allen & Heath ZED-10FX Mini Mixer with Effects

The versatile Allen & Heath ZED-10FX mini mixer features four mic/line inputs, two Hi-Z guitar inputs, two stereo inputs for effect returns and portable music players or keyboards, a 24-bit effects processor, and a USB digital audio interface compatible with both Mac and Windows computers—all packed into a compact and portable unit that is easy to take to gigs, whether recording live or in the studio. It is also ideal for small PA and AV rentals, as well as for use in hotels, small churches, and schools.

Channels 1-4 include XLR mic inputs with low-noise preamps offering 60 dB of gain. Channels 1 & 2 also have balanced/unbalanced line inputs while 3 & 4 feature Hi-Z inputs with Class-A FET circuits and 26 dB boost switches for added warmth to guitar and other instruments. Each mono channel is equipped with responsive, 3-band swept-mid EQs with MusiQ technology for optimal sound shaping.

The built-in DSP engine provides sixteen effects options, including reverbs, delays, cascaded delays with reverbs, and flanger and chorus effects. The delay tempo can be adjusted in real-time with the TAP button. Additionally, the ZED-10FX offers FX and aux sends, 48V phantom power for microphones, XLR main stereo outputs with inserts, a monitoring section with a headphone output, and a separate monitor speaker output.
