Returns & Exchange
Our goal is and has always been happy customers.
If you’re not fully satisfied with your purchase for any reason, we want to make it right.
We will gladly accept your qualifying return or exchange within 30 days of the delivery date.
- Item(s) must be packaged within a separate shipping box.
- Item(s) must be received in “Like New” condition.
- Item(s) must include all original packaging, manuals, components, etc.
- Item(s) that are opened, used or that do not meet these guidelines may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 25%.
If you believe you’ve received a defective product, contact our support team at 972-290-0595 or email@example.com and we’ll promptly provide assistance or issue a return authorization (RA) number. If it is determined that the item failed within our direct coverage period you will be issued a printable, pre-paid shipping label for returns within the 48 contiguous U.S. States. Once issued pre-paid labels will remain valid for 30 days and all items to be returned must be shipped and on their way back within 30 days of the original receipt date. Once we receive your return and have validated the defect we will exchange the defective product for a brand new one, or will issue a refund should you choose to decline replacement.
All items will be inspected and thoroughly tested by a technician upon arrival back to FM Electronics. The customer will be fully responsible for all shipping costs, including the cost of retrieval if the item(s) sent back are found to be in full working order and/or do not match the defect originally described.
Refunds & Exchanges
If you have received an item that you’re dissatisfied with and wish to exchange or return your product for a refund you will be responsible for all shipping costs. This includes the transportation cost of returning the item back to FM Electronics as well as the cost incurred to initially have your package shipped as part of a free shipping promotion. The initial outgoing shipping is free if you keep the item purchased only. Any such costs will be deducted from your refund. Once we receive the item and have thoroughly inspected your product a representative from our customer service team will contact you.
Return to sender / Refused Packages
If for any reason the shipping carrier is unable to deliver and a package is returned back, the customer will be responsible for round trip shipping charges, as well as any cost charged by the shipping carrier for the return.
If for any reason a package is refused by the receiver and the package is returned back, the customer would be responsible for round trip shipping charges, as well as any cost charged by the shipping carrier for the refusal.
FM Electronics does not cover the cost of transportation (Incoming or outgoing, taxes, duties and/or brokerage fees) on International returns, exchanges or defective item replacements. All transportation costs including taxes, duties, additional charges, VAT’s and/or brokerage fees will be solely the responsibility of the buyer.
Exceptions to return policy:
The following item types are ineligible for return:
- Items returned without all original packaging and components, including the retail box, manuals, cables, etc.
- Personal items including but not limited to: headphones, earbuds, microphones, clothing, jewelry, etc.
- Software, media and license keys including but not limited to: CD’s, vinyl, software plug-ins/upgrades/installers and any software that has been registered.
- Trussing, Staging and Oversized/Overweight items.
- Video Wall systems and associated accessories.
- MagnaFloor LED Dance Floor Products and accessories.
- Custom cases.
- Special order items.
- Items containing Hazardous Materials (Lithium batteries, etc.).
- Items with damage, including scratches, dents, dings or signs of heavy use.
- Replacement Parts or refills including but not limited to: rechargeable batteries, bulbs, cartridges, styli, circuit boards, fog fluid, haze fluid, bubble fluid, snow fluid and spark granules.
When Returning a product you must have an RMA # (Returned Merchandise Authorization) # issued by FM Electronics. You can obtain this by contacting FM Electronics Customer Service. Items returned to FM Electronics that have not been authorized or that fall outside of the terms of our return policy will be returned at the expense of the buyer.
When shipping items back to our warehouse please use the carrier of your choice, be sure to fully insure the shipment and address the package as follows:

We recommend using an insured and traceable delivery method. FM Electronics is not responsible for any returns damaged or lost in transit. FM Electronics reserves the right to deny any return. By purchasing you agree to our terms and policies.
Return Policy for Leases
Orders made with FM Electronics and funded via a “Lease” are considered to be a final sale.
You should be sure you know the exact equipment you want to order as once a transaction has been processed as a “Lease”, we are unable to make any changes to either the items or quantities.
In the event a product is defective or damaged in transit please notify FM electronics within 2 business days of receipt and arrangements will be made to exchange the equipment in question for the exact model number only.
How To Handle Your Return
Simply contact a Customer Support Representative Monday thru Friday from 10am to 5pm Central Time and we will issue an RMA # (Return Merchandise Authorization #) after you’ve completed our RMA Authorization Form via email. We will not accept any return without an RMA # authorized from FM Electronics.
Please be sure not to write on or mark the retail packaging of the item. Simply use the box we shipped it in to return it to us and make any and all markings on that.

We currently collect and remit sales tax on applicable purchases shipped to the following locations: Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin and Wyoming. Be sure to check your state and local tax authorities as you may be responsible for other taxes in these or other states.
